Juan Añez Pineda — Founder, Panorama Restoration

Juan Añez Pineda

Founder & Managing Member

Founded Panorama Restoration with the conviction that NYC's building restoration industry was ready for a fundamental transformation — combining engineering precision with cutting-edge technology.

With a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Project Management, Juan brings an analytical, systems-driven approach to an industry that has historically relied on experience and intuition alone.

His executive education at MIT Sloan School of Management reinforced his commitment to data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and technology-enabled project delivery. As a Certified Project Manager (CPM), he applies formal project controls — CPM scheduling, earned value analysis, and quantitative risk assessment — to every restoration project Panorama undertakes.

Juan holds a NYC Special Rigger License, authorizing him to supervise and control the erection and use of scaffolds, cranes, and derricks in New York City — one of the most demanding licensing requirements in the construction industry. He is a member of IIBEC (International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, Member #63340) and NYCSRA (New York City Specialty Restoration Association).

Under Juan's leadership, Panorama Restoration has pioneered the integration of drone-assisted façade inspections, AI-powered quantity takeoffs, and automated close-out documentation into the specialty restoration workflow — delivering faster, more accurate, and more transparent project execution across all five boroughs of New York City.

How We're Different

Most restoration contractors rely on experience and estimation. We add data, technology, and engineering discipline to that foundation:

Drone-Assisted Inspections capture every square foot of every elevation — not a sample, the entire building. AI-Powered Quantity Takeoffs convert that data into precise material and labor quantities, eliminating the estimated allowances that drive change orders. Automated Close-Out Documentation compiles the full project record in real-time, not after the fact.

The result: proposals based on measured data, timelines that hold, documentation that's comprehensive, and projects delivered with engineering precision.

Our Values

01

Precision

Every detail matters. We measure, verify, and document — because the difference between good work and great work is in the details.

02

Ownership

We treat every project as if it were our own building. Problems are solved, not passed along. Commitments are kept.

03

Transparency

Building owners deserve to know exactly what their project costs, why it costs that, and what they're getting for every dollar.

04

Innovation

Technology serves craftsmanship, not the other way around. We adopt tools that produce better outcomes — not just better marketing.
