What a Rigger of Record Is Responsible For
On suspended scaffold and rigging operations in New York City, a licensed Special Rigger is legally responsible for the rigging: the plan, the installation, the operation, and the removal. That responsibility sits with the license holder personally. When a contractor doesn't have a licensed Special Rigger on staff, they need one of record. What We Will Not Do
We will not lend the license. A "rigger of record" who signs and disappears while the contractor self-directs the work is a license loan, and it exposes the contractor, the license holder, and the public. Every Panorama supervision engagement is structured as genuine supervision, with real authority, real presence, and a written agreement that says so. If the working reality drifts from that, we suspend. Contractors who want that clarity are exactly who we work with.

How Pricing Works
Supervision is billed per day of supervision, typically in the range of $500 to $1,500 per day depending on the size and complexity of the operation, with a minimum call-out per site visit. The cadence, the scope, and the price are all set in writing before we start, so there are no surprises for either side.
